Happy New Years! I hope everyone had a wonderful and safe New Years Eve.
The hubby and I stayed home, as usual, and rang in the New Year with a movie. Actually, the hubby was fast asleep before midnight while I was reading up on some Twilight fan fiction, my newest addition. We don't dare go out to any overpriced parties or get caught in a checkpoint. Back in the younger years the hubby and I used to throw house parties for New Years, but now that we have Joey we're pretty much homebodies.
If you made it to my blog you probably came from Jenny's blog, which means you are hopping along on the Unscripted Sketches New Years blog hop. Yay!
So it's the New Year and with that comes resolutions, wishes and goals. I have never been much for resolutions since I honestly didn't take the time to really stick to them. I'm hoping to be more serious this year and stick to them. Because I don't want to create all of these resolutions and overwhelm myself I am sticking to 2 that are going to be the most important things in my life that I desperately need.
- Be more patient with life and those around me. Having an extremely stressful job coupled with parenting a hormonal and rebellious teenager and a 4 year old little ruckus boy can really damper someone's level of patience.
- Become organized in every aspect of life- home and work- so that I can stay as stress free as possible. This means that I will need to create weekly goals and stick to them.
I can live with these 2 and *know* that if I put my mind to it I can make this happen. Sounds easy enough right? Like everything in life the most simplest things are usually the things you have to work hardest at.
I'd like to hear what your resolutions are for 2010. It doesn't have to be a laundry list but what are one or two of the most important things you would like to get out of 2010? Leave your resolution in the comments section by Sunday 9 pm EST to be entered to win blog candy from me. And feel free to follow me too!
Next up is Kelly. And if you didn't start at the beginning of the blog hop head over to Unscripted Sketches.
Peace.
Great resoultions, Jeryn! I have several that I hope I stick to. :)
Have a great New Year! I have enjoyed working with you at US this year!
Hugs,
Hollie

I love that you have two resolutions. I have one my goal is to be nicer to me and stop "Shoulding on Me." Everyone tells me I am to hard on myself so I am going to try and be nice to me. Wish me luck, at 57 it's hard to change. LOL
Happy New Year!

Your resolutions are very similar to mine! Good luck on them, you aren't alone in your journey :)

Happy New Year Jeryn! Hmm...your resolutions are great because as you work on them life gets better. I suppose I should focus on losing weight but that just makes me so cranky and it's kinda selfish so I really don't have any new resolutions. I'm just continually trying to improve my organization thereby improving the life of my entire family!
